Role Overview
Etsy is looking for a thoughtful, strategic, and highly organized Lead Project Manager of Programming to lead the planning and orchestration of marketing campaigns across both buyer and seller audiences. As a key member of our Creative & Marketing Operations team, you’ll partner across Brand, Strategy, Creative, and Product Marketing to ensure our campaigns are well-sequenced, aligned to business priorities, and executed with clarity and focus.
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in complexity, brings a systems-thinking mindset, and is passionate about helping creative and strategic teams do their best work. You’ll be at the center of campaign planning – from brainstorms, roadmaps to execution – helping shape timelines, flag risks, and ensure teams are set up to deliver powerful, coordinated campaigns that resonate with our communities.
What You’ll Do
- Own the strategic planning and orchestration of buyer and seller marketing campaigns
- Facilitate annual, quarterly, and seasonal planning exercises to ensure campaign priorities are aligned across teams.
- Partner closely with Strategy and Marketing leads to shape campaign timelines and build visibility across workstreams.
- Serve as a central point of contact across key partners – including Brand, Growth, Merchandising, and Product Marketing, to keep efforts in sync.
- Anticipate risks and blockers early, and bring the right people together to resolve issues and keep work on track.
- Manage cross-functional calendars, sequencing, and workflows to ensure campaigns ladder up to broader business and brand goals.
- Partner with a Program Manager to track milestones, identify learnings, and keep documentation and tools current.
- Lead post-campaign retrospectives, surfacing insights that can inform future planning and improve operational efficiency.
- Support the development and rollout of improved planning systems, processes, and documentation standards.
- Represent the voice of operations in meetings, helping ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment.
