What you will do

###

• Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring;
• Own the built components in production, performing needed support, troubleshooting, and monitoring;
• Participate in reviews of system architecture, code, and design documents;
• Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.

Must haves

###

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time;
• 2+ years of experience in Java (version 11 or higher);
• Strong knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Core;
• Experience with SQL and databases such as MongoDB;
• Expertise in microservices architecture and REST/API-based development;
• Ability to write unit tests and integration tests for application reliability;
• Capability to work effectively within a Scrum team and agile environment;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience;
• Experience developing applications with complex business logic;
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

• Experience with PostgreSQL;
• Control-M or similar orchestration platform;
• Drools or similar Business Rules Management System;
• Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume;
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry;
• Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience;
• Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles and tools (e.g., GitHub, Bamboo, SonarQube, Veracode).
