Generative AI Engineer

KingPool is a next-generation fantasy sports platform built for the modern fan—smarter, more social, and deeply engaging. We’re reimagining fantasy sports through generative AI modernization, intuitive design, and community-driven game play. Our product spans free-to-play and real-money formats, with an embedded B2B offerings and an evolving AI layer designed to power personalized engagement and entertainment. We are very early-stage, bootstrapped to date, pursuing pre-seed fundraise in the near future.

We are seeking a Generative AI Engineer to build and scale the this capability into fantasy sports.

What You’ll Build
As our founding GenAI engineer, you’ll lead development of KingPool’s AI-powered engagement features, ideas including:

• KingBot: Our agentic AI “trash talk” and contest engagement bot that lives inside group chats and leagues
• Smart Picks: AI-driven pick recommendations and fantasy analysis tailored to users
• Auto-Generated Content: Summaries, power rankings, previews, and post-contest banter
• Agentic AI Tools: Real-time contest insights, fantasy coaching, automated onboarding support
• Fantasy Ops Automation: Intelligent pipelines to assist with B2B contest creation, marketing, and fan CRM

What You’ll Do
Architect and build KingPool’s first GenAI models, tools, and in-app integrations

• Translate product concepts into working LLM agents, embeddings pipelines, and content generation workflows
• Collaborate with mobile, web, backend, and design teams to ship clean, intuitive AI experiences
• Own experimentation and evaluation of AI features
• Implement and monitor AI performance, user impact, and safety guardrails
• Help shape our long-term AI roadmap across product, marketing, and fantasy contest innovation

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 2–4+ years of experience building real-world GenAI products
• Fluency in prompt engineering, LLM chaining, embeddings, RAG, agentic workflows
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, LangChain, or similar
• Familiarity with Supabase, AWS, and tools like n8n, Pinecone, or Vector DBs
• Product-thinking mindset: you want your AI to drive engagement, not just answer questions
• Strong communication and ownership mentality—this is a foundational hire
• Bonus: experience in fantasy sports, sports media, or sports betting industries
• Bonus: portfolio of AI agents, bots, or creative GenAI tools you’ve built
