Description of the offer
Who We Are
We’re a group of connected telehealth and digital health brands, all operating under one umbrella with a mission to deliver better health outcomes, powered by technology and automation.
Over the next 12–18 months, we’re rebuilding from the ground up:
- Grove 2.0, a new platform for bulk-billing patient care
- Real-time infrastructure across clinics, pharmacy, ops, and data
- A shared system that unlocks scale, automation, and AI enablement
- A modern product & engineering culture focused on velocity, ownership, and delivery
We’re not building slides. We’re building systems. And we need one great engineer to to work alongside the team for a greater vision.
The Role
We’re hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership of our next-gen patient platform (starting with Grove), help us automate critical ops workflows, and build clean, maintainable infrastructure we can scale across the group.
You’ll work directly with the CTO and Head of Product to:
- Build and ship the Grove 2.0 MVP in 6–8 weeks
- Replace manual tools with clean APIs and internal microservices
- Own backend and full-stack development for Grove and shared tooling
- Help us move away from outsourced development and own our platform in-house
- Introduce better developer practices (CI/CD, QA, observability)
- Set a new bar for quality, speed, and simplicity
This role is 80% Grove-focused, 20% cross-platform enablement.
What You’ll Work On
- Grove 2.0 MVP – Booking, consult, script, follow-up, NPS
- Internal Tooling – Replace Retool flows with real engineering ⚙️ Automation APIs – Concession checks, form parsing, pharmacy sync
- Infrastructure – Standardise AWS services, CI/CD, observability
- Dashboards – Help connect to our emerging data layer (Snowflake / RDS)
- Comms – Patient comms logic, backend triggers, messaging sync
Our Stack
- Frontend: Next.js, Tailwind, React
- Backend: Node.js, Express (moving to modular microservices)
- Infra: AWS (RDS, S3, EC2, CloudFront), Bitbucket/GitHub, Retool (legacy)
- Monitoring: New Relic, Sentry, UptimeRobot
- Tools: Slack, Jira/Linear, Google Workspace
You Might Be a Fit If…
- You’ve built MVPs fast, from scratch and turned them into stable products
- You’ve worked on real user-facing platforms, not just internal dashboards
- You love clean, scalable code but understand time-to-value
- You’re comfortable taking ownership and being the go-to engineer
- You’re sick of slow cycles, unclear roadmaps, and platform debt
Bonus: you’ve worked in healthcare, compliance-sensitive systems, or high-volume patient platforms
Why Join Us
- Real ownership of a meaningful product from day one
- Mission-driven work that impacts patient care
- Fast execution, zero fluff, and an empowered team
- Opportunity to shape the culture of our internal engineering team
- $4–5K/month (AUD) with flexibility for seniority and impact
