Founding Full Stack Software Engineer

The Opportunity

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll own end-to-end product development across frontend, backend, and AI-powered services. You’ll bring technical leadership from day one: shaping architecture, establishing best practices, and mentoring team members as we grow.

This role is ideal for engineers with 10+ years of experience who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to build foundational systems at a mission-driven startup.

What You’ll Do

• Own and architect features from UI to backend services
• Lead design and implementation of AI/LLM-powered functionality
• Drive technical decisions on system design, tooling, and infrastructure
• Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience
• Mentor engineers and shape engineering culture

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Backend: Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Python (FastAPI, async)
• Frontend: React, TypeScript
• Databases: MongoDB and SQL (Redis a plus)
• System design and architecture experience
• Experience with agile methodologies and fast iteration cycles
• Strong ownership mindset and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
• Familiarity with vector or graph databases (e.g., Neo4j)
• Startup experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $150K–$190K based on experience
