E-commerce Growth Consultant Part-Time, Remote JOB

We’re seeking an experienced E-commerce Growth Consultant to lead strategic initiatives for our expanding portfolio of Shopify-based fashion brands. This part-time, remote role combines technical SEO expertise, data analytics, and client management to drive measurable growth for our e-commerce clients.

You’ll work directly with fashion e-commerce brands to optimize their online presence, implement robust tracking systems, and develop data-driven growth strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical implementation and strategic consulting.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & SEO

• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits for Shopify fashion e-commerce sites
• Develop and execute on-site SEO strategies, including page optimization, schema markup, and site architecture improvements.
• Create and optimize SEO-focused content for product pages, collections, and editorial content specific to fashion e-commerc.e
• Implement and manage configurations for Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Search Console.
• Set up and maintain conversion tracking and enhanced e-commerce measurement.

Analytics & Performance

• Define and track key growth metrics and ROI for client initiatives
• Build dashboards and reporting systems to monitor performance
• Analyze customer journey data to identify optimization opportunities
• Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to inform strategy

Client Management

• Serve as the primary strategic consultant for client accounts
• Communicate technical concepts and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Deliver regular performance reports and strategic recommendations
• Manage project timelines and deliverables
• Build strong, consultative relationships with client leadership teams

AI-Powered Efficiency

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, analysis, and optimization
• Use AI for competitive research, keyword analysis, and content ideation
• Implement AI-driven automation for routine tasks to maximize productivity
• Stay current on emerging AI tools relevant to e-commerce growth

Required Qualifications

Essential Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify platform and ecosystem
• Proven track record in on-site SEO with measurable results, particularly in fashion or lifestyle e-commerce
• Deep expertise with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and conversion tracking implementation
• Experience in agency or consultancy environment managing multiple client accounts
• Demonstrated ability to track and report on growth metrics and ROI

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar)
• Strong understanding of e-commerce analytics and attribution models
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
• Comfortable with HTML/CSS basics for implementing tracking and SEO elements

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Client-focused mindset with consultative approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle e-commerce verticals
• Experience with content management systems and product feed optimization
• Familiarity with Shopify apps ecosystem (SEO, analytics, personalization tools)
• Background using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, or similar for content and analysis
• Understanding of paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and how they integrate with organic strategies

Work Arrangement

Schedule: Part-time, Up to 10 hours per week (flexible within EST business hours)

Location: Fully remote (must be able to work primarily during EST timezone hours)

Collaboration: Regular video calls with internal team and clients; asynchronous communication via Slack/email

Time Commitment: Expect up to 1-2 client meetings per week, plus execution time; some flexibility required for client schedules
