About the Role:
We’re seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to bridge our Layer 2 ecosystem and the broader developer community. You’ll craft compelling tutorials, sample integrations, and live demos; host workshops and office hours; and act as the primary technical liaison between external builders and our core protocol team. Your work will accelerate adoption of our EVM‑compatible rollup, drive high‑quality feedback, and shape our long‑term developer experience strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- App Onboarding & Support,Lead onboarding sessions for new dApp teams—providing technical workshops, hands‑on integration assistance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth deployment and optimal performance on our Layer 2 network.
- Content & Tutorials, produce clear, engaging guides, code samples, and video walkthroughs covering everything from “Hello World” contracts to advanced Layer 2 integrations (bridging, staking, governance).
- Feedback Loop, collect and triage developer feedback on SDKs, APIs, documentation, and protocol features; collaborate with Product, Engineering, and UX teams to prioritize improvements.
- Developer Tools, help design, test, and maintain in‑house SDKs, CLI tools, and boilerplate templates; ensure they are intuitive, well‑documented, and battle‑tested.
- Metrics & Reporting, define and track KPIs for developer growth, support tickets, tutorial engagement, and ecosystem health; report regularly to leadership.
- Support efforts in testnet and mainnet deployment, from infrastructure setup to debugging and performance optimization.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or Technical Evangelism with blockchain‑focused teams.
- Deep familiarity with Ethereum and EVM‑compatible networks; hands‑on experience writing Solidity contracts.
- Proven track record creating technical content (docs, tutorials, code samples, videos) that resonates with Web3 developers.
- Experience onboarding builders to testnets and mainnets; comfortable walking through infrastructure setup, wallet integration, and layer‑2 flows.
- Proficiency with developer tooling (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle) and common SDKs (web3.js, ethers.js).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at technical writing and issue‑tracking workflows.
- Self‑starter mindset, capable of driving cross‑functional initiatives in an async, remote environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous contributions to open‑source blockchain projects or technical blogs.
- Experience with Layer 2 rollup architectures (Optimistic, zk‑rollup) and cross‑chain bridges.
- Familiarity with Dogecoin protocol nuances or Bitcoin Core development.
- Comfort with scripting or languages like TypeScript, Go, or Rust for tooling and demos.
- Network of contacts in the Web3 developer community, hackathon organizers, or relevant meetups.
