Automation Engineer / Python Developer — AI & Workflow Systems

We’re looking for an AI focused developer who can design systems that automate intelligently and do meaningful work.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and real business operations.

You’ll take ownership of existing n8n workflows that handle customer service inquiries, expand them with new features, and push into new frontiers — voice automation (ex: VAPI) that handles calls and voicemails, and deeper operational processes that drive insights and efficiency across the company.

What You’ll Do

• Take over and expand existing n8n workflows that automate customer service and internal processes
• Build and refine Python-based backend systems (we use FastAPI and Litestar)
• Integrate voice AI to handle live calls, voicemail transcription, and intelligent responses
• Connect systems through APIs, databases, and event-driven logic
• Own projects end-to-end: concept → architecture → deployment → iteration

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Python and backend fundamentals
• Familiar with SQL and data-driven logic
• Skilled at building and connecting APIs (third-party and internal)
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-driven automation
• Bonus if you’ve worked with n8n, VAPI, FastAPI, or Litestar

Location & Schedule

Hybrid in Garland, TX — primarily remote with occasional in-person collaboration.

Our company is only set up to process payroll for Texas residents. Candidates outside of Texas would only be eligible if paid as a contractor/ vendor.
