Senior Software Engineer

Franchising is an $800B+ industry in the U.S. alone — and yet most franchise networks still run on fragmented legacy software, static dashboards, and manual workflows. Harmonyze is a venture-backed startup (Bowery Capital, Focal VC, and others) building the AI backbone behind the world’s best franchise brands.

We build production-grade AI systems that unify operational data, reason over complex business workflows, and surface clear, prioritized actions for operators, coaches, and executives. Our platform is already used daily by some of the largest and fastest-growing franchise brands in the world.

We’re now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and scale the core systems that power Harmonyze.

Your Impact

You’ll be a core builder on Harmonyze’s product and platform — owning systems end-to-end and shipping AI-powered features that directly impact real customers. This is a role for an engineer who enjoys operating across the stack, moving quickly, and using AI as a force multiplier.

You’ll work closely with the founding team to design, build, and operate production systems that sit at the intersection of data, AI, and complex real-world workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship product features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Design and operate backend services and APIs that power AI-driven experiences
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Airflow
• Work with Postgres and time-series databases (e.g. InfluxDB) to support analytics and scoring
• Design, build, and ship LLM-powered features used directly by customers
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT) to increase velocity and quality
• Own features and pipelines from implementation through production and iteration

You likely have:

• 3–6+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with LLM workflows (prompting, tools, evaluation)
• Experience with ETL, Airflow, Postgres, and/or analytics-heavy systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with agents, RAG, or structured LLM outputs
• Experience building data-intensive or analytics products
• Startup experience or shipped side projects
