Senior Product Manager

We’ve built a job board called Remote100K that people actually like. High NPS, users tell us we save them hours, companies like Anthropic and Figma post with us. That’s the good news.

The challenge? We’re at maybe 5% of what this could be. Right now people can search and filter—that’s it. No saved searches, no recommendations, no application tracking. Our employer experience is clunky. We do tons of manual work that could be automated.

We need someone who can build the roadmap to get us from where we are to where we need to be. Someone who can balance urgent fixes with strategic bets while maintaining the quality that makes us special.

What you’ll own:

• The entire product roadmap and prioritization
• Job seeker experience: making it faster and better to find $100k+ remote roles
• Employer experience: making it easier for companies to reach senior talent
• Curation and quality: maintaining our standards as we scale 10x
• Discovery and matching: helping people find roles they didn’t know existed
• Conversion optimization across the entire funnel

Real problems you’ll solve:

• Our search ranks by recency, which isn’t great. How should we rank results?
• We reject 60% of submissions for quality. How do we scale this without hiring 10 reviewers?
• Job seekers want to know if companies are actually remote-first. How do we surface that?
• We have 400+ job categories. That’s too many. What’s the right taxonomy?
• Should we build email alerts? A mobile app? What actually moves the needle?

You should have:

• 5+ years as a product manager, ideally at a marketplace or B2C platform
• SQL skills and ability to dig into data yourself
• Experience building 0-to-1 products from scratch
• Habit of talking to users constantly
• Strong opinions held loosely—conviction plus flexibility
• Understanding of job search pain points from personal experience
• Startup experience preferred
