Job Description:

• We are looking for a talented and creative Senior 2D Artist with 2 to 5 yrs of experience
• who has strong artistic skills, proficiency in 2D design tools, and the ability to work collaboratively to create visually stunning artworks like concept art, background art, character art for games, animations, illustrations, or other digital media projects.
• This role demands a strong foundation in digital drawing techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of anatomy, perspective, and composition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create rough sketches for character, backgrounds and other elements.
• Create high-quality 2D artwork for various projects including characters, environments, props, icons, UI elements, and other visual assets.
• Work closely with the art director, game designers, and other team members to ensure the artistic vision is achieved.
• Develop concept art and initial design drafts based on project requirements.
• Ensure that all artwork is consistent in style, color, and theme.
• Adhere to project-specific visual styles, brand guidelines, and artistic direction throughout the creation of assets.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and solutions for artistic challenges.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a 2D Artist or similar role in the gaming, animation, or design industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 2D art skills, including character design, environments, and illustrations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 2D design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and open to learn new tools as and when needed.
• Understanding of design principles such as composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity and understanding of AI tools and Stable Diffusion techniques.
• Designing user interface elements (buttons, menus, icons) and understanding how art impacts the user experience in games or applications.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, receiving and incorporating feedback effectively
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced.
