We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our software development team. In this role, you will be using multiple coding agents in parallel (Claude Code, Cursor background agents, or Devin) to develop and maintain our web applications at scale.

At Dreamwave, we use React, Tailwind, Next.js, Node.js, Postgres, GCP, and Typescript. Strong knowledge of SQL queries is important.

Experience with ML engineering is a plus but not required. (PyTorch, Kubernetes, Google Cloud)

Technical Requirements

• Strong debugging skills (especially with debugging AI-written code)
• Conscientious about testing (especially with AI-written code)
• Ability to monitor your coding agents at scale (Claude Code, Cursor background agents, or Devin)
• Strong prompt engineering skills
• Previous experience building AI agents (at hackathons, side projects, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
• Thorough experience with Dreamwave’s tech stack (React, Tailwind, Typescript, Next.js, Node.js, Postgres, and GCP)
• Strong knowledge and ability to debug SQL queries
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically

Non-technical requirements

• Strong design skills: Strong intuitive understanding of visual design principles. A keen eye for aesthetics, user flow, and the finer details that elevate a product from good to great. You will need to evaluate the designs that Claude Code comes up with in order to ship full-stack features end-to-end.
• Early-stage startup experience: You’ve built products from scratch (0 to 1) and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
• High user empathy: You put the customer first, ensuring their experience drives design and product decisions.
• Excellent communication skills.
