Description of the offer

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to work directly with the founder to lead the launch, scaling, and management of the business (SaaS Fintech startup). This is a unique role that combines product, growth, and operations, offering you a foundational leadership position in the company.
This role is a full-time position with a significant equity grant that vests over four years, including a one-year cliff.

What You’ll Do
Launch & Growth Strategy: Lead the development and execution of our go-to-market plan. You will be responsible for defining our target market, positioning the product, and driving initial user acquisition.

  • Product management: Own the product roadmap. You’ll work with the engineering team to translate customer feedback and market needs into new features, ensuring the product is intuitive and solves real problems.
  • Customer & community: Be the voice of our early users. You’ll actively gather feedback, conduct interviews, and build a community of early adopters who will help us refine and grow the product.
  • Business operations: Manage all non-technical aspects of the business. This includes financial planning, vendor management, and ensuring we meet all necessary legal and compliance requirements.
  • Hiring & management: As needed, you will identify, hire, and manage contractors or additional team members to support our aggressive growth plan.

Who You Are

  • An experienced builder: You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role at an early-stage SaaS or technology startup. You have a proven track record of launching a product from scratch and achieving initial traction.
  • A versatile generalist: You are comfortable wearing multiple hats and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Data-driven: You use metrics and data to make decisions. You can define key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze results to identify growth opportunities.
  • Industry knowledge (preferred): You have a strong understanding of a complex, traditional industry and are familiar with major players and market dynamics.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about building a business from the ground up.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a startup environment, ideally in a general management, product, or growth-focused leadership role.
  • A portfolio or detailed case studies of past product launches and growth initiatives are a strong plus.
