Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of these teams, depending on your background and interest:

• ModelVault: on-prem AI server for secure, cloud-independent model hosting
• DeepLaw: AI contract reviewer that interprets deals through a business + legal lens
• GeneEase: biotech x AI platform targeting subclinical conditions

What You’ll Do

• Own key pieces of the AI agent pipeline: prompt orchestration, retrieval (RAG), fine-tuning
• Build lightweight UX & tooling: web UIs, annotation flows, contract data views
• Design and evolve data/model infra to support rapid iteration and experiments
• Collaborate with the Product Lead and team to ship prototypes → MVP → scalable systems
• Contribute to architecture decisions balancing speed, reliability, and scalability
• Stand up and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Vercel) for development + deployment
• Play a role in hiring and shaping the team over the next 12 months

Who You Are

Must-haves

• 5+ years as a full-stack or ML/AI engineer (startup experience strongly preferred)
• Hands-on with LLMs in production: prompt engineering, LangChain, AutoGen, or similar
• Comfortable across the stack: APIs, vector DBs, fine-tuning loops, simple UIs
• Strong product sense: you can balance shipping scrappy with building for scale

Nice-to-haves

• Background in legal tech, health tech, or developer tools
• Familiar with agent-based architectures & RAG pipelines
• Experience mentoring engineers or scaling early teams
