Senior Product Designers

Company details

Company: Trade Genius
Type de job: Remote
Country: United States
City: Los Angeles
Experience: 4 years or more

Description of the offer

1

You will own design across product and brand for the Genius ecosystem. Tradegenius is building a next-generation crypto terminal and exchange, with the deepest network coverage of any terminal, and the most liquid backers in the industry (ask for details). Design is not decorative here: it is the conversion engine, the retention loop, and the brand differentiator.

Your mandate is to architect the Genius brand and product experience around two guiding principles:

  1. Delight — frictionless, elegant user journeys that surprise and satisfy.
  2. Dopamine — behavioral design that rewards engagement, drives repetition, and sustains community stickiness.

Archetypical Users

  • Discretionary traders, large whales, sophisticated actors, and those with high risk tolerance.
  • Audience is crypto-native, but tolerance for poor UX should not be mistaken for acceptance. The design goal is to set a new standard: crypto-native speed and power with consumer-grade usability and polish.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce the Genius design system across all surfaces (terminal, onboarding flows, rewards, referrals, mobile).
  • Translate abstract trading infra into human-intuitive interactions; make complex financial actions legible and addictive.
  • Partner with product and engineering to ship UI/UX that converts, retains, and scales globally.
  • Lead visual identity, brand language, and marketing design with coherence across web, social, and community touchpoints.
  • Implement feedback loops: design experiments, measure dopamine hits, double down on what works.

Requirements

  • Track record of building and shipping consumer-grade products, ideally in fintech, crypto, or high-stakes systems.
  • Proficiency in design systems, motion, and interaction—beyond static screens.
  • Behavioral psychology literacy: able to design for dopamine without losing trust.
  • Obsession with detail: typography, micro-interactions, and delight moments.
  • Strong cross-functional communication; can defend design decisions to engineers and investors alike.
  • Bias to action, ownership, comfort with ambiguity.
  • Speed, speed, speed, speed

Why Genius

  • Impact: We’re building the final crypto interface for DeFi. Our goal is to eat crypto. You get to determine what that looks and feels like.
  • Upside: Aggressive token and equity grants aligned with growth.
