At Teleskope, we’re building a modern and developer-friendly data security platform to automate data security and privacy at scale, from detection to remediation.
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will join a high-performing team of engineers and contribute to the development of core Teleskope products and features.
What you’ll do
- Build end-to-end, user-facing features that power the Teleskope platform
- Work closely with product designers and company leadership to translate business requirements and designs into functional code
- Troubleshoot and debug complex systems at scale
About you
- 10+ years of experience as an engineer
- Strong ability to positively influence engineering culture and mentor junior engineers
- Solid back-end development skills, preferably in Golang
- Skilled at front-end development in TypeScript / React
- Well-versed in relational databases, SQL, and schema design
- Experienced scaling in both cloud infrastructure and code
- Must be based in NYC (we work hybrid, in-office Tue/Wed/Thu)
