We’re seeking a Senior Brand Designer with a strong foundation in visual design and a deep appreciation for UI/UX to join our Brand Design team. In this role, you’ll help define and evolve Rocket Money’s visual language across surfaces — from lifecycle emails and product education to mobile screens and marketing campaigns. You’ll partner closely with product designers, lifecycle marketers, and product managers to shape user-centered visuals that are expressive, clear, and consistently on brand.

Please note: We strongly encourage team members to be in the office 1-2 days per week, though there is no formal in-office requirement

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will:

• Design and evolve Rocket Money’s visual brand across mobile product, lifecycle campaigns, and marketing surfaces.
• Collaborate with Product Design to bring branded visuals into onboarding, feature launches, and in-app education moments.
• Co-develop visual components with the Design Systems team to ensure cohesion and flexibility in the right places.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to shaping team rituals and standards
• Bring motion, layout, typography, and iconography together to tell clear, emotionally intelligent stories.

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years of experience in brand, product, or visual design
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality visual design across UI/UX surfaces
• Experience designing for mobile-first products
• Clear understanding of hierarchy, information design, and layout within different product environments
• Proficiency in Figma and comfort working in shared design systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design decisions with clarity
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners including Product, Engineering, and Marketing
• Bonus: motion design fluency, illustration direction, or experience in fintech/personal finance

Additional information: Salary range of $110,000 – $130,000/year + bonus + benefits

Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
