Zuora, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer to:
- Responsible for developing, creating, and modifying computer applications software written as web services in Java which are distributed to client through cloud technologies.
- Design and implement subscription platform and applications including distributed query service, custom field and object service, and universal search.
- Design and develop highly flexible common components and APIs that enable the build of custom solutions.
- Build REST APIs using Open API standards and implement APIs.
- Develop applications on a Platform-as-a-Service (PAAS) model using Java and deploy software systems in the cloud.
- Design and construct integrations allowing the exchange of data with remote systems.
- Document software requirements by drafting detailed system design document(s).
- Test process(es) to find defects and bugs in software.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of experience as a Software/Process Engineer or a related occupation. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following:
- Developing software based on Java based applications
- Developing Python scripts
- Engaging with cross-functional teams for process development
- Bash Scripting and Matlab
- Working with web services and distributed computing cloud
- Architecting software systems
- Debugging software

The base pay details represent the annualized salary range for the posted position. While we share a comprehensive range, a candidate’s final base salary will fall within these guidelines and will be determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to: qualifications of the candidate, job related knowledge, prior related experience, specific and unique skills, the location of the role, internal equity and internal budget.
