Staff Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our growing finance and accounting operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, developing robust internal controls, and enhancing system efficiencies as we scale. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in GAAP, revenue recognition, and ERP systems (preferably Sage Intacct), and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls
• Support revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and complex billing structures
• Maintain the GL and oversee account reconciliations
• Partner with CFO on audit prep, tax filings, and board/investor reporting
• Assist in scaling accounting operations as ARR grows — potentially including billing, collections, and reporting automation
• Evaluate and improve systems for scale and efficiency, specifically integrations between the incumbent ERP system, Sage Intacct, with other critical components of the tech stack, HubSpot and ClickUp
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with Sage Intacct highly preferred; other ERP systems acceptable (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Online Advanced with strong controls)
• CPA preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of GAAP; revenue recognition expertise is a plus
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Annual salary range is $95,000 to $115,000 (commensurate with experience)
