Right now, we’re hiring one great Software Engineer to work across two high-conviction ventures. You’re not jumping into two early-stage maybes. One venture is real, live, and growing. The other is ambitious, greenfield, and yours to shape.

Venture 01: The AI OS for Healthcare
One of our flagship healthtech businesses. Live, profitable, and operating for over a decade. We’ve delivered care, built clinical programs, and scaled patient ops with real-world traction.
Over the next 12–18 months, we’re reinventing our digital backbone from the ground up.

We’re building:

• A scalable AI OS layer that sits across all our healthcare products and teams
• Fully automated agentic workflows for clinical ops, CX, pharmacy, and support
• A real-time infrastructure unifying ops, data, and decisioning across brands
• Human-in-the-loop systems that reduce manual work to near-zero

You’ll work directly with the CTO and product leads to bring this AI-native healthcare system to life.

Venture 02: AI Infrastructure for the Edge
In parallel, we’re building something new, and very different.

A stealth AI infrastructure company focused on sovereign, off-grid, and energy-aware inference systems. Think: containerized GPU units running mission-critical AI in harsh or disconnected environments.

Climate. Defence. Research. Remote ops. We’re designing systems that run where cloud can’t.

This is a zero-to-one project. You’ll help shape it, from compiler layer to scheduling engine to edge deployments. If you’ve ever wanted to build the infrastructure layer of the AI wave, this is it.

The Role

You’ll split your time ~70/30 across two portco’s – with opportunities to go deeper into either based on roadmap and skill fit.

This is one role inside the studio. Full-time, high-trust, and high-velocity. You’ll collaborate directly with engineers, product, ML, and hardware across both ventures.

What You’ll Work On

(Healthcare AI OS)

• Build and maintain backend services powering agentic workflows
• Design clean APIs that drive internal and external automation
• Implement business logic for patient, pharmacy, and clinical ops
• Connect services to a growing data layer (Postgres, Snowflake, etc.)
• Build systems that are observable, testable, and maintainable
• Collaborate on shared infrastructure across products and teams

(AI Infra)

• Help shape the orchestration layer for compute, energy, and AI workloads
• Build interfaces and APIs that connect ML, hardware, and deployment logic
• Prototype backend services for scheduling, observability, and failover
• Work with ML and hardware leads to model real-world constraints in software
• Contribute to the vision and execution of our sovereign AI platform architecture

You Might Be a Fit If…

• You’ve shipped backend or full-stack systems in production
• You’re confident designing APIs, services, and scalable infrastructure
• You can move between product-focused work and systems-focused thinking
• You like turning complexity into simple, reliable code
• You want to build for real-world users, not slides, not theory

Bonus: You’ve worked on backend systems in healthcare, infra, energy, or edge compute environments.
