Job Summary
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and operating our production blockchain infrastructure. You will take ownership of core architectural decisions within your area, drive automation at scale, and ensure our systems are resilient, observable, and secure. You’ll be partnering closely with engineers and leadership, helping MPCH achieve critical infrastructure reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on design and architecture of highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Evolve automation frameworks, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps tooling
• Define and manage CI/CD strategy, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure software delivery
• Operate mission-critical blockchain infrastructure, including validator nodes and staking operations, with a focus on reliability and performance
• Scale and optimize Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and distributed systems
• Establish observability standards (Prometheus, Datadog, custom tooling) and lead incident response readiness
• Partner with protocol and security teams to implement best-in-class cryptographic and cloud security practices
• Mentor and guide engineers, promoting a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to technical strategy, helping MPCH evolve its DevOps and infrastructure roadmap

Qualifications
Required:

• 7–12+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles, with proven experience leading initiatives at scale
• Expert-level hands-on experience with GCP in production environments, including advanced networking and security
• Strong architectural background, able to design and review infrastructure patterns for resilience, cost optimization, and compliance
• Deep expertise in automation & orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.)
• Proven experience running blockchain infrastructure (nodes, validators, staking ops) in production
• Fluency in Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed systems at scale
• Advanced monitoring/observability expertise, from design to incident response leadership
• Strong security mindset, with experience implementing best practices in production cloud environments
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages Strong Plus:
• Experience with cryptographic infrastructure (PKI, HSMs)
• Familiarity with Ethereum, Cosmos, or Layer 2 protocols
• Experience with SIEM/SOC tooling and secure networking architectures
• Industry certifications (e.g., GCP Professional DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA, CISSP)
• Open-source contributions or thought leadership in DevOps / blockchain communities
