We’re on the hunt for a unicorn (yes, we’re aware) Senior Design & Animation Lead who’s ready to mix up graphic design, character illustration, animation, and UX wireframing into something fresh. If you’re someone who can bring a vision to life through beautiful designs and smooth animations, we want to work with you. You’ll play a key role in creating everything from eye-catching visuals to interactive prototypes, helping to tell stories across all sorts of digital spaces.

Essential Functions:

• Design and create static graphics, illustrations, flowcharts, and diagrams.
• Draw and animate characters that resonate with our audience, making them feel like part of the brand.
• Develop motion graphics for everything from social media posts to website animations.
• Create website and landing page wireframes and prototypes that make our digital experiences easy to use and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and our performance creative team to create assets that support our bigger picture goals + raises the bar of new experimentation.

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise

• Pro skills in design, illustration, and animation tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)

• You’re comfortable creating wireframes and UI/UX designs that feel intuitive and user-friendly.

• You’ve got a strong understanding of design principles – like typography, color, and layout, that you use to make things look just right.

• Experience creating fun, memorable characters that fit into a larger brand story.

• Bonus points for knowing a little front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or being familiar with web design standards.

• The ability to break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand designs.

• Great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize your work effectively.

• A collaborative attitude with solid communication skills, because you’ll be working closely with lots of different teams.

Experience 

• 3+ years creating designs, animations, and wireframes, with a portfolio that shows off your versatility.
• You’ve created everything from static designs to animated content, and know how to make them all fit together seamlessly.
• A background in character illustration and animation that makes your work stand out.
• You’ve worked on projects where you needed to balance creativity and practicality, always keeping the end user in mind.
• You’ve probably worked in a team environment before, so you know how to collaborate and deliver on time.
