The Position

We’re looking for a Product & Design Lead to direct strategy, roadmap, and execution of our consumer product. This role will define the vision for our consumer experience, prioritize high-impact features that drive engagement and growth, and ensure fast, high-quality delivery in partnership with engineering, product design, and marketing. This role is essential to drive product strategy, prioritize features that enhance user engagement, and accelerate growth in a competitive market.

What You’ll Do

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the long-term vision for our consumer product, creating prioritized roadmaps aligned with business goals, market trends, and user needs.
  • Feature Prioritization: Identify and deliver high-impact features, conduct A/B testing, and iterate based on performance metrics to optimize for conversion, retention, and monetization.
  • Software Delivery: Partner closely with engineering to ensure fast, high-quality delivery of consumer features, balancing speed, scalability, and reliability to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering, product design, marketing, and data teams to guide product development from ideation through launch. Effectively communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes to executive stakeholders, fostering alignment and championing user-centric decision-making across the organization.
  • Customer Advocacy: Stay deeply connected to user pain points and travel industry dynamics. Ensure that every feature shipped makes the experience simpler, smarter, and more rewarding for travelers.

  • Experience developing comprehensive product strategies that balance short-term wins with long-term vision.
  • Experience managing a consumer technology product, ensuring the product we are building maximizes key company goals.
  • Ability to create success metrics for any feature based on company goals and clearly describe the process for feature roll out (A/B test).
  • Understanding of software development processes and consumer tech stacks to effectively bridge business goals and engineering implications.
  • Extremely clear written communication that structures and translates complex ideas in a highly digestible way.
  • Demonstrated experience to analyze large scale, complex data sets and making effective decisions based on data, with strong proficiency writing SQL queries.
  • Ability to drive high-speed engineering delivery and bring a team together to deliver high quality software quickly.
  • Experience working directly with technology start-up executives, and shipping in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments.
  • Experience working with 0-1 products.
  • Strong interest in understanding our customer and problem space, with a passion for building a game-changing consumer product.

The anticipated salary range for this role’s listed level is $198,000-240,000. Level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, in alignment with market data.

While our team members can join us from anywhere, all applicants must be available to work standard continental US hours.
