Join us as our 2nd performance marketing hire! We’re looking for an individual who can work in a two-person marketing team with the effectiveness of an entire marketing organization, allowing us to continue accelerating our business disproportionately to headcount.

About you

  • Energized by scaling acquisition for a business focused on financial empowerment for millions of underserved individuals
  • Comfortable in a high-intensity role and seeking an ambitious workload. We are looking for a marketer with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to deliver on tight deadlines. We expect this to take our marketers more than 50 hours a week.
  • Proactively embrace and relentlessly solve complex problems without perfect instructions
  • Prior experience (3-6 years) in performance marketing or user acquisition at a consumer startup (preferably consumer fintech) establishing and scaling paid advertising channels – specifically:
    • Running ads across most or all of the following platforms:
    • Social, Search, DSP, CTV, Podcast, etc
    • Web, App
    • Google, Apple, Meta, TikTok, etc
    • Editing videos and sourcing creative
    • Triangulating performance using multiple deterministic and probabilistic attribution methods coupled with incrementality tests
  • Motivated to use AI, automation, and data tools in your day-to-day work to push the boundaries of what a single individual can do
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, handles shifting priorities fluidly, and works effectively with product, engineering, data science, design, and other cross-functional teams
  • Thrive in a remote or hybrid work environment
  • Experience or comfort operating under regulatory frameworks such as UDAAP, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, ECOA, FCRA
  • Bonus: open to residing in Austin, TX and working in-person with the Austin-based marketing team (in-office schedule to be determined)
  • Bonus: proficient with SQL or Python
  • Bonus: engineering background or mindset

What you’ll do

  • A little bit of everything! We are a small company, and you’ll be expected to pick up many different things
  • Efficiently scale our customer acquisition
  • Monitor and grow key performance indicators for user acquisition, customer activation, and customer lifetime value
  • Generate, source, edit, optimize, experiment with, and deploy creative to scale acquisition
  • Ship experiments and creative tests at a high velocity in collaboration with cross-functional partners to continuously improve performance
  • Establish foundational marketing processes and practices for scaling acquisition across existing and new channels
