We’re a small, fast-growing team and are now looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to own the architecture and development of our platform as we scale.

Role Overview

This is a foundational engineering leadership role. You’ll be responsible for shaping and leading the technical direction of our platform — everything from core architecture decisions to building scalable infrastructure and world-class user experiences.

You’ll work directly with the founders and cross-functional leaders across product, design, and growth to deliver high-impact features and help build a thoughtful, high-performance engineering culture from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering efforts end-to-end: From design and development to deployment, you’ll own both the frontend and backend.
• Lead sprint planning, working directly with the Head of Engineering to determine scope and roadmap requirements
• Drive architectural decisions: Evaluate and evolve our current stack (React.js, GCP, Java/Kotlin), ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement engineering best practices: Shape processes around code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Mentor and grow the team: Help establish a technical culture that balances shipping fast with building for the long term.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Growth, and Design to define requirements, shape features, and deliver solutions that drive business impact.
• Own platform performance and infrastructure: Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Preferred Experience

• 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications in production environments
• Expertise in React.js (frontend) and Java/Kotlin (backend)
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud platforms
• AI adoption, leveraging Code-Copiloting and other tools to expedite deployments & amp; QA
• Experience leading architecture or re-architecture efforts in high-growth environments
• Strong product sensibility and interest in working closely with cross-functional teams
• A bias toward ownership, problem-solving, and execution
• Experience in early-stage startups or fast-moving tech teams
• LLM and other data transformation layer experience is a big plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Luigi.
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Certification in GCP or related technologies.
