Omnalis is an AI-Native data orchestration platform that produces diagnostics in data readiness for data delivery in clinical trials. The current phase of development is at a protocol-first risk and readiness application that analyses trial protocols. surfaces design-time risks, and turns them into a structured risk library + light workflows.

*Our Ideal Founding Engineer: *

• Architect, build, and ship production-grade systems rapidly, including protocol ingestion, scoring engines, workflow orchestration, and audit trails
• Work end-to-end across the stack, with a primary focus on backend systems and light frontend contributions for a SaaS product.
• Design and implement safe, explainable, and reliable uses of LLMs within a regulated or high-stakes environment.
• Serve as a technical representative of the company, demonstrating credibility with sponsors, partners, and future engineering hires.

What We’re Looking For

• 4-6 years of experience in backend engineering, infrastructure, or applied AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience in LLM orchestration and data pipelines.
• Proven track record of shipping v0/v1 products at early-stage startups.
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining high standards for reliability, security, and clarity of system design.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in clinical, healthcare, or other regulated domains, or a strong interest in learning these domains quickly.
• Experience building systems that require auditability, explainability, and compliance from day one.
