Role & Responsibilities
- Design compelling marketing websites for deep tech startups and innovative companies
- Create sophisticated UI/UX experiences with strong attention to layout, color, typography, and spatial hierarchy
- Design motion-forward interfaces with animated elements, transitions, and interactive components that incorporate moving images, video, and dynamic media
- Contribute to presentations, pitch decks, social media collateral, and other digital marketing materials
- Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and developers to bring creative visions to life
- Work in fast-paced sprints to deliver high-quality designs from concept to final handoff
- Prepare design files and specifications for seamless handoff to developers or production
- Maintain design systems and ensure consistency across digital touchpoints
Requirements
- 4+ years of digital design experience focused on web and marketing sites
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX best practices and visual design excellence
- Expert knowledge of layout, color theory, and typography
- Proven ability to design with motion, animation, and interactivity in mind
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
- Experience working in-house at a creative agency
- Passion for technology and deep tech innovation
- Understanding of responsive design principles and web constraints
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, startup-like environment
Preferences
- Experience working with VC-backed B2B tech startups (especially early stage)
- Familiarity with sectors like defense, industrials, AI, aerospace, biotech, climate, and robotics
- Knowledge of frontend development capabilities and constraints
- Experience designing for Webflow or similar platforms
- Understanding of animation principles and micro-interactions
- Interest in working with founders building breakthrough technologies
