*Responsibilities *

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS and Snowflake
• Own the architecture and optimisation of our data warehouse (Snowflake)
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using tools like AWS Glue and dbt
• Design and build real time data pipelines (e.g. using Kafka, Tinybird etc.)
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to provide clean, reliable datasets for reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards, including SOC 2 requirements
• Manage and enhance our BI tools (Tableau, Superset) to empower stakeholders with self-serve analytics
• Monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and observability across systems
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and growth teams to support data needs.

*Qualifications: *

• 4–7 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS stack (S3, Glue, Lambda, etc.)
• Proficient with Snowflake, including performance tuning and best practices
• Experience designing and managing data models and transformations using ETL/ELT frameworks
• Solid understanding of data governance, security, and access control mechanisms
• Skilled in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Superset
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Mage etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
