About the Role

We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to help scale our technology through robust, automated solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new functionality, servicing and maintaining existing functionality, building on existing frameworks, and supporting team development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

You will design, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms that track aircraft in real-time, with a focus on sensor fusion, tracking, and segmentation
You will design and implement evaluation metrics to understand the performance of key systems
Collaborate with development team and customers to resolve bugs and create new features
Utilize recorded and simulated data to automate testing, debug, and improve performance of algorithms

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Advanced skills with C++ and Python, particularly in a Linux environment using ROS 2
Familiarity with tools for version control (Git, GitLab, GitHub) and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar).
Experience with hardware/embedded systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using cloud computing technologies such as Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud, etc.
Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies.
Experience with Digital Twins (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Unity, CARLA, etc.)
Experience working with hardware (3D Cameras, Lidar, Networking, 3D printing, etc.)
Experience with CUDA
Experience with Computer Vision (Pytorch, OpenCV, etc.)
Experience with Path/Motion Planning Algorithms (A, RRT, etc.)
Experience with State Estimation Algorithms (e.g., Kalman Filter)
