Boost My School is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team helping schools ensure all students succeed

• Company covers medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums and out-of-pocket expenses through QSEHRA ($512/mo for individuals, up to $1,037/mo for those with families)
• A company laptop will be shipped to you before your first day

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities to drive pipeline growth (both cold-calls and email prospecting)
• Conduct high-level conversations with school administrators in target markets
• Schedule online product demonstrations for Account Executives
• Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified meetings (SQLs)
• Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities
• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of BoostMySchool’s products, industry trends, and competition
• Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using our CRM (Hubspot)
• Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
• Work internally with sales management and marketing to ensure proper quality, quantity, and success metrics are achieved
• Opportunity to be grow with the company and be promoted to an Account Executive, if you consistently hit monthly quotas and exhibit the competencies needed to succeed in the added responsibilities.

About you

• 1+ years of experience in business development: lead generation, sales, and/or marketing with success in a results-driven environment. Ideally at a B2B SaaS company
• You have a skill/knack for having meaningful conversations with strangers and the ability to gracefully continue a conversation through objections in your cold-calling experiences
• The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Bonus: You’ve sold software to schools (K-12 private or public, higher ed)

Base salary will be around 70% of OTE.
