3D Artist
ForeVR Games, multiplayer Unity game development studio, is looking for an experienced and trustworthy 3D artist to work on our live and future games. You will be working closely with the core development team, software engineers, artists and designers to implement new features and content. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with a professional and highly skilled team on casual real-time multiplayer games for all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models, textures, lighting, and animations for characters, environments, and props.
- Collaborate with designers to develop cohesive visual styles.
- Optimize assets for performance without compromising quality.
- Maintain consistent artistic style and quality throughout projects.
- Use 3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush) for modeling and sculpting.
- Apply materials and textures using tools like Substance Painter or Photoshop.
- Rig characters and animate movements when required.
- Work with developers to ensure proper integration into game engines (Unity) or rendering pipelines.
- Participate in feedback sessions and iterate on designs based on team input.
Job requirements
- Proven experience as a 3D artist (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
- Strong knowledge of texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation techniques.
- Understanding of real-time rendering engines (Unity) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong artistic sensibility.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
