A|L Media (www.almediastrategy.com), a fast-paced, award-winning political media firm is looking for a Web Designer/Developer/Motion Graphic Artist to join our growing team. We partner with progressive political and issue-oriented campaigns across the country.

A|L Media has a unique opportunity for a multi-talented Web Designer/Developer/Motion Graphic Artist who thrives at the intersection of design and code — someone who can craft compelling digital experiences while also diving into the mechanics that make them work.

The Position 

This is a hybrid creative and technical role ideal for a multidisciplinary designer/developer who enjoys building visually polished, high-performing websites and digital assets in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment. You’ll be primarily focused on designing and developing campaign landing pages and microsites — but we’re also looking for someone flexible and collaborative enough to tag in and support our motion graphics team.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Design and Development

• Design and build responsive landing pages, campaign microsites, and digital tools
• Implement web projects using HTML, CSS, WordPress (Elementor or similar), and light JavaScript
• Manage CMS content and plugins, including updates, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Integrate third-party tools for email capture, donations, analytics, and tracking
• Ensure accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and performance best practices across all web assets

Motion Graphics & Visual Design

• Create motion graphics elements for TV, and digital products, and websites
• Design static visuals for web and digital ads (social media graphics, display ads, banners, etc.)
• Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables
• Provide supplemental graphics (lower thirds, title cards, overlays) for use in video content

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Assist with internal branding and presentations
• Collaborate with strategists, content creators, and developers to deliver cohesive digital experiences
• Bring a problem-solving mindset to both creative and technical challenges

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of professional experience in web design and front-end development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress (including custom themes and page builders like Elementor)
• Comfort working with Adobe Creative Suite — especially After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere
• Experience designing for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness
• Bonus points for: light JavaScript experience, DNS/email setup familiarity, experience with Mailchimp or Action Network, and analytics implementation
• A team player who’s comfortable switching gears between technical work and creative collaboration
• Passion for progressive politics and mission-driven design work

Benefits & Compensation:

• A salary range of $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience, through November 2026
