User Interface Designer

Overview

Our client is seeking a UI Designer to craft intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces that enhance user experience across digital products. This role collaborates closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and Marketing teams to translate user needs and business requirements into elegant, functional interface designs. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a solid design foundation, and experience designing scalable, user-centered digital interfaces in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to translate requirements, wireframes, and user flows into high-fidelity UI designs.
• Create and maintain design systems, UI components, style guides, and reusable assets to ensure consistency across products.
• Produce design deliverables including mockups, prototypes, and visual specifications for development handoff.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and stakeholder input.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and best practices (e.g., WCAG).
• Stay current with UI trends, tools, and emerging design patterns.
• Support leadership and stakeholders by clearly communicating design rationale and decisions.

Operating Context

• Works in a collaborative, cross-functional product development environment.
• Partners closely with UX Designers, Developers, Product Managers, and Marketing teams.
• Manages multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• May operate in a remote or hybrid setting using modern design and collaboration tools.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in UI design for digital products (web and/or mobile).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of responsive design and platform-specific UI guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a UI Designer or Visual Designer.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, e-commerce, or digital product environments.
• Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS concepts to improve collaboration with developers.
• Exposure to UX principles, usability testing, or interaction design.
• Experience working in agile or product-led teams.
• A strong portfolio showcasing UI design work for real-world products.
