Position Overview:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic Product Leader to define, champion, and execute our product vision and roadmap. You will be the voice of the customer, translating complex healthcare and administrative challenges into intuitive, high-impact product solutions. This role requires a leader who can leverage data-driven insights to build a best-in-class platform that serves both institutional partners and students.

You are a strategic, hands-on product leader with a deep understanding of software development, UX/UI, and market strategy. You excel at balancing user needs and technical feasibility with key business objectives. You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and are eager to drive innovation in healthcare technology. A strong technical foundation is a major plus, enabling you to effectively collaborate with our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
Define and own the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Volta’s platform (web and mobile), ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather deep customer insights from institutions and students to identify new features and product lines.

Act as a key member of the executive team, providing insights on product direction, market trends, and customer needs.
âď¸ Product Execution & Leadership
Oversee the product lifecycle from concept and design to launch and iteration, working closely with the engineering team to ensure high-quality execution.
Define, track, and analyze key product performance metrics (KPIs) and use data to inform product decisions.
Establish and refine agile product development processes, ensuring efficient discovery and delivery.
Partner with engineering leadership to make informed build-versus-buy decisions and manage technical debt.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure GTM readiness and product adoption.
Ensure the product design and features meet regulations and industry standards, collaborating with legal and compliance teams.
Represent the product externally, including at investor meetings, industry events, and strategic customer discussions.
Qualifications
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role defining product strategy, preferably in a start-up or fast-growing B2B/B2C company.
Proven ability to launch and scale high-impact software products (web and mobile).
Exceptional communication skills with experience interfacing with engineers, sales, customers, and executive leadership.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and the product design process.
Previous experience in fintech, consumer tech, healthtech, or working with complex regulated data is preferred but not required.
