THE POSITION:

MTI is looking for a Proposal Manager to be responsible to write, ensure compliant completion for proposals, and handle negotiations and contract modifications from pre-RFP through proposal submission. Implements policies and procedures to ensure business objectives are met. Participates in the development of short and long-term objectives and recommends goals to management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and / or assist in the development of proposals through collaboration with all members of the proposal team. These may include but are not limited to: capture manager(s), business development officer(s), Prime contractor teams, subcontractor teams, and other technical individuals as required.
• Assist in the development of proposal responses to government Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Task Order (TO) Proposals, as needed.
• Manage and coordinate individual RFP / RFQ proposal efforts and section re-writes, as required.
• Respond to clarification requests and requests for final proposal revisions.
• Ensure compliance to bid process and make improvements that clearly and succinctly address the RFP requirements
• Serve as primary point of contact (POC) for assigned proposal efforts including, but not limited to, preparation of kickoff briefings, coordination of on-site and virtual meetings, development and creation of compliance and response outlines, as well as capability gap matrices, proposal schedules, and support of proposal production.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field from an accredited college or university or demonstrated equivalency in work history
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Proposal Management
• Advanced familiarity with RFI/RFP processes, preparation, management, and procedures
• Ability to lead, create and complete responses to Request for Proposals (RFP), as well as Requests for Information (RFI) from start to finish
