Senior GO/C/C++ Software Engineer – Up to 110K Euros per annum – Fully Remote

My client is looking for a highly qualified and experienced software engineer with a strong background in Linux networking, Go/C, and Kubernetes. You will have the opportunity to work on a top-notch engineering team to develop StackState, an observability SaaS or on-premise platform. Candidates that can significantly contribute to the development of our agents and have a thorough understanding of the Kubernetes platform are given priority.

Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the engineering team to design, implement, and manage our StackState Agent is one of your responsibilities.
• To ensure that we provide top-notch service, make use of your extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and DevOps.
• Participate in architectural selections and make a vital contribution to the development of our product.
• Code in Go, C, Scala, or Python, and thoroughly understand the Linux networking stack.
• Conduct code reviews to guarantee high quality standards

Qualifications

• The equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Deep knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes.
• Engineer with a track record and strong Go, C++, and C skills.
• A thorough knowledge of the Linux networking stack, as well as programming experience using eBPF and/or other Linux OS-level ideas.
• Knowledge of system design, including the ability to create and maintain complex applications.
• A huge plus is prior experience writing Linux kernel code.
• A track record of producing software of the highest calibre.
• Strong ability to solve problems, a talent for complicated systems, and a thorough understanding of system architecture.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities.
• Scala knowledge is preferred but not required.
