SEO Associate

4-month contract, high potential to extend

  • EST hours, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the client’s SEO strategy across owned web properties, assisting

with keyword research, content optimization, competitor research, and on-page SEO updates

(titles, meta descriptions, internal linking)

  • Monitor organic traffic, rankings, and site performance; flag trends, anomalies, and

opportunities

  • Compile and maintain recurring SEO reports and dashboards to track performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with content, product, and engineering teams to implement SEO

updates and ensure adherence to best practices

  • Conduct basic site audits including identifying indexing issues, broken links, technical SEO

gaps)

  • Help test and QA SEO changes before and after deployment

Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, analytics, or a related field (internships and academic projects welcome)
  • Basic understanding of how search engines work and core SEO concepts
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, data organization)
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Interest in sports, gaming, or digital products is a plus

Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Job Purpose:

To support and execute on-page and off-page optimization strategies to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform optimization efforts
  • Implement on-page optimization techniques such as title tag optimization, meta descriptions, and header tag optimization
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Assist in the creation and execution of off-page optimization strategies, such as link-building and social media outreach
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure website content aligns with the overall SEO strategy
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in SEO

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SEO
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of best practices in on-page and off-page optimization
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Ability to analyze website performance data and make data-driven recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Salary: $55,000-$70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
