Web Developer - Remote job in Canada

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Build user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services as required.
• Optimize websites for performance, security, and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other team members.
• Perform testing and debugging before deployment.
• Maintain and improve existing websites and applications.
• Follow web development best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive web design.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of Git and version-control workflows.
• Basic knowledge of databases and backend technologies.
• Good understanding of website performance and SEO fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js, PHP, Python, or another backend technology.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
