Senior Graphic & Motion Designer

Join Unity’s Brand Studio as a Senior Graphic & Motion Designer and help shape how one of the world’s leading technology and creative platforms shows up across the globe.

You’ll work across brand, marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, events, and other high-visibility initiatives, creating work that is both strategically grounded and visually compelling.

This role sits at the intersection of graphic design and motion design, giving you the opportunity to develop ideas across multiple mediums while helping evolve Unity’s visual language.

You’ll collaborate closely with designers, motion and video specialists, producers, marketers, writers, and other stakeholders to transform complex ideas into clear, engaging creative work.

Success in this role means consistently delivering thoughtful, high-quality creative at scale while strengthening the Unity brand and raising the creative standard across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conceptualize and deliver high-quality graphic and motion design across brand initiatives, campaigns, product launches, social media, events, and marketing projects.
  • Translate complex business, product, and technical concepts into clear and compelling visual stories.
  • Help evolve Unity’s visual language by developing creative concepts and extending existing brand systems across new channels and formats.
  • Collaborate with designers, video and motion specialists, producers, writers, marketers, and other stakeholders from initial concept through final delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver production-ready assets for digital, social, presentations, events, print, and other formats while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with a strong foundation in typography, composition, color, and visual design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in motion design, supported by a portfolio showcasing strong animation, storytelling, and visual craftsmanship.
  • A versatile graphic design portfolio demonstrating the ability to create compelling work across multiple formats and channels.
  • Experience working within and evolving brand systems, including creating work that is consistent, scalable, and production-ready.
  • Experience using AI and emerging creative technologies to enhance design exploration, production, and creative workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with 3D.
  • Experience in video production, editing, or post-production.
  • Experience developing brand guidelines, templates, or scalable design systems.
  • Experience creating automated or AI-assisted creative production workflows.
  • Experience working within a global technology, entertainment, gaming, or creative organization.

Base Salary Range

The base salary range for this position is determined by the candidate’s primary work location:

United States

  • Zone A: USD $87,400–$131,200 gross
  • Zone B: USD $98,800–$148,200 gross
  • Zone C: USD $111,000–$166,600 gross

Canada

  • Zone A: CAD $84,200–$126,200 gross
  • Zone B: CAD $90,900–$136,300 gross

These ranges reflect the anticipated base salary for this position. In addition to base salary, the role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in company incentive programs, such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions.

The final offer will depend on several factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
