Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a Content SEO Specialist to support a large pharmaceutical organization as they establish an in-house SEO function. This individual will focus on optimizing content strategies for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess strong content optimization experience, deep knowledge of search intent analysis, and the ability to collaborate with creative agencies and brand stakeholders to ensure content aligns with both user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform content gap analyses and identify optimization opportunities
• Develop SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) recommendations
• Optimize content for organic search performance and AI search visibility
• Conduct search intent and customer journey analysis
• Generate prompt-driven insights using AI tools and platforms
• Partner with content teams, brand stakeholders, and creative agencies
• Evaluate existing content and recommend enhancements that improve discoverability
• Translate SEO findings into actionable recommendations for marketing teams
• Monitor changing trends in AI search and content discovery
• Ensure content aligns with brand objectives while addressing consumer search behavior

Must Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Content SEO experience
• Strong background in content optimization and search intent analysis
• Experience conducting content audits and gap analyses
• Understanding of AI search optimization and emerging search technologies
• Experience working with content management workflows and creative teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to convert search insights into business recommendations

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
• Experience with AI prompting platforms (Gradio, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.)
• Agency experience supporting large enterprise clients
• Experience optimizing content for AI Overviews and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
• Familiarity with enterprise content ecosystems
