Product Marketing Manager

Location: United States (Remote)

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $150k/year – $180k/year

What You’ll Work On

The Sage Groups Client is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to own positioning and go-to-market while also contributing across marketing. As an early member of a small, fast-moving team, this individual will lead product and feature launches, develop messaging and positioning, support sales enablement, and produce content such as messaging frameworks, first call decks, battlecards, product collateral, case studies, and campaigns. Because we’re an early stage company, this role also pitches in wherever the business needs it, including content, events, email, and demand generation. It’s a highly collaborative role that partners closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies for market entry, product launches, feature releases, and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Produce compelling value propositions and messaging that differentiate us in the market and resonate with our target audiences, including developers and technical buyers
  • Develop high-quality content, including product decks, customer case studies, videos, webinars, and more, that highlights the benefits and differentiators of our products
  • Partner with sales to build the tools, training, and content they need to communicate our value to prospects and customers
  • Gather customer and community feedback to iterate on messaging and positioning, and advocate for those needs internally
  • Contribute across the broader marketing team as required, from campaigns and events to email and demand generation
  • Work closely with Product, Central Marketing, and Sales to keep messaging, campaigns, and strategy aligned

Why You’re Background is a Great Fit

  • Minimum of 5+ years of product marketing experience, with meaningful time at early stage startups where you owned outcomes end to end
  • Proven experience in go-to-market planning, product launch execution, and creating compelling content
  • Range across marketing functions, with the willingness to own work outside your specialty when the team needs it
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a collaborative, humble, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Experience marketing to developers or technical buyers, ideally in open-source, AI, or infrastructure, is a plus
  • Chinese as a working language, is a must have
