Product Designer (UX/UI) – Remote Job in Germany

At Lotum, we design, develop, and operate mobile games for Android and iOS, as well as for innovative new platforms such as Facebook Instant Games and TikTok. Our goal is to create meaningful products in small teams that millions of friends and families enjoy playing together every day. For our mobile games, intuitive user interfaces and a smooth user experience are just as essential as the code behind them. As a Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for the overall design of a game and work closely with the development team to contribute to the success of our games.

Your Responsibilities

• Help shape the look and feel of one of our international mobile games as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in all phases of the development process, from the initial concept to the final product, always keeping the needs of our players in mind.
• Bring your creativity and passion for design to create a unique user experience.
• Create marketing content and design our store presence across Apple, Google, and Facebook.

Your Profile

• You have professional experience designing well-thought-out, intuitive mobile apps.
• Your portfolio demonstrates your conceptual and visual design skills, as well as your understanding of user-centered design.
• You are a quick learner and stay up to date with usability best practices and current design trends.
• You have experience creating design systems and patterns to develop consistent and scalable designs.
• You are confident using Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable tools.
• You have successfully completed a degree or professional qualification in a design-related field such as UX/UI, Communication Design, or Interaction Design.
• As German is our company language, good German language skills are required.

Optional Qualifications

• You have experience with video, motion design, or (micro) animations.
• Basic experience with HTML and CSS can be an advantage when collaborating with our developers.
