Pixels is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our fast-paced
team and help manage communications, coordinate public releases, and perform day-to-day
marketing operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, quick to learn,
and excited to work in a fast-paced gaming environment. Having strong communication
skills, being proactive and reliable are key to success in this role. This position will report
directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, Heidi Christine.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
- Organized, thorough, and attentive to details
- Self-starter who can identify needs and take initiative without constant supervision
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, platforms, and processes quickly
- Familiar with generative AI for copywriting
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with a low-ego, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Basic graphic design and content creation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly release communications, including Substack articles, Discord posts, X/Twitter updates, Telegram announcements, and in-game messages
- Incorporate CMO feedback into content and adapt it for multiple platforms
- Create and schedule announcements for events
- Ensure alignment and secure approvals on copy/creative/go-live windows to ensure
- on-time project delivery across channels and organizations
- Take notes during meetings and ensure action items are seen through completion
- Foster, build, and manage relationships with partners and vendors
- Assist the CMO with various administrative and operational tasks
- Support overall marketing initiatives and operations, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are aware and aligned with plans and deliverables
