Coastal lifestyle T-shirt illustrator

Seeking an experienced illustrator to create high-quality, hand-drawn and/or digitally illustrated T-shirt designs for a premium coastal lifestyle brand. Must be able to match the quality of top Southern-style apparel brands while creating original, non-copy designs that reflect Creekside’s unique identity.

Job Description: I’m building Creekside Clothing, a premium coastal lifestyle brand that blends the charm of the Southern outdoors with a youthful, modern edge. We’re aiming to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the biggest names in the niche — but with a fresh, original style that’s all our own. This is not a one-off gig. I’m looking for a designer who can help set the visual foundation of Creekside and potentially continue with us as we expand into new product lines. Project Requirements: • Redo two existing designs (American Flag and Crab) in a clean, professional, print-ready style. • Create six new original T-shirt designs in our vintage/coastal style — inspired by the niche but unique to Creekside. • Follow my creative briefs while bringing your own professional design touch. • Deliver vector-based, print-ready files (Illustrator or similar). • Maintain consistent quality, style, and turnaround times.

What I’m Looking For in You: • Proven experience designing for lifestyle or apparel brands, ideally in coastal, nautical, or outdoor styles. • Strong skills in illustration, composition, and typography for apparel. • Ability to work from text briefs and turn them into high-quality, print-ready designs without excessive back-and-forth. • Understanding of apparel printing and how to design graphics that translate perfectly from screen to fabric.

The Creekside Vision: Creekside Clothing is building a premium Southern coastal lifestyle brand from the ground up. We want our designs to feel timeless yet fresh — the kind of shirt people want to wear for years, not just a season. We’re launching with T-shirts, but we’ll quickly expand into hats, outerwear, and accessories, with opportunities for custom illustrations on a wide variety of products. The right designer will help define our signature look and see their work become a core part of a fast-growing brand.
