The Role

We’re hiring an AI Video Editor to fundamentally transform how Marriage Reset produces video—with AI at the core.

You’ll take our Meta ads, Instagram content, and YouTube videos from a manual, one-at-a-time editing process to an AI-driven production pipeline using tools such as Claude Code, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, and Seedance.

The goal is to produce 5–10x the output of a traditional editor, at a quality level we’d be confident putting real ad spend behind.

You’ll own the pipeline, own the output, and help raise the performance of the editors around you.

This is a full-time, remote position requiring at least 3 hours of daily overlap with Central European Time. We’ll provide the tools you need. We’re looking for the best person for the role—not the cheapest.

Why We’re Hiring

Video editing is currently our biggest production bottleneck.

Our existing editors work primarily in traditional software such as iMovie and Premiere Pro. Much of the process is manual, which means editing takes significantly longer than it should and requires frequent hands-on direction.

Today, our first-pass approval rate—meaning an edit is approved without requiring a redo—is around 30%. We need to get that to 70%+.

We’ve already seen what’s possible when an editor combines their skills with AI.

A 90-minute video can go in, get automatically transcribed, have key moments identified, highlights selected, and come back as a finished clip within minutes and for just a few dollars. Reviewing that output can take less time than providing a single round of feedback to a traditional editor.

We want to build that capability into our entire video production system.

What We’re Looking For

There are three things that matter, in this order:

1. Output

You’ll edit our Meta ads, Instagram content, and YouTube videos using an AI-first workflow.

We’re looking for someone who can consistently produce dozens of 1–3 minute edits each week, achieve a 70%+ first-pass approval rate, and deliver on schedule.

2. The Pipeline

You’ll build and own the system that makes that output possible.

That includes using Claude Code or an equivalent AI agent/editing platform for tasks such as:

  • Transcription
  • Clip selection
  • Cropping
  • Captioning
  • Video assembly

You’ll also use HeyGen and ElevenLabs for AI avatar and voice-clone videos, and Seedance for generative B-roll.

Most importantly, you’ll be responsible for fixing and improving the system when something breaks.

Nobody else on the team is going to build this for you.

3. The Team

You’ll train our existing editors to work with the new AI-driven workflow.

Within 90 days, we’ll evaluate the results together and decide whether the team has successfully upskilled or whether you should take on more of the editing volume yourself.

Either outcome is fine.

The goal is output—not headcount.

What This Role Isn’t

This is not:

  • A motion graphics or animation role
  • A scriptwriting role (our writers provide compliant scripts)
  • A compliance role (script and final review are handled separately; your responsibility is editing)
  • An agency engagement

We’re hiring one person to own this function.

You should be comfortable teaching our current team the AI workflow, while also being willing to take on some or all of the editing yourself if that proves to be the most effective approach.

We’re looking for the best person we can find—not the cheapest.

Mindset matters as much as technical ability. We want someone proactive who treats output, quality, and turnaround time as their own responsibility—not someone who simply executes assigned tasks.

Six Months In, We’d Expect

By the six-month mark:

  • Your edits are approved on the first pass 70–80% of the time
  • You’ve built and fully own our AI editing pipeline, from long-form video to short clips and from full client testimonials to before/after ads
  • You can diagnose and fix the pipeline when something breaks
  • You’ve trained the rest of the editing team on the AI workflow
  • Overall output has increased while headcount has decreased
  • Ads can be edited the same day and launched on schedule
  • Nobody needs to chase you to get work completed

What You’ll Do

  • Edit high-quality Meta ads at high volume—approximately 25 ads plus 10 variations in the pipeline each day, with around 10 new concepts per week for each avatar
  • Produce short-form Instagram content for Josh’s account
  • Edit long-form YouTube videos
  • Turn long-form videos into clips and highlights through the AI pipeline
  • Transform full-length client testimonials into compelling before/after ads that make logical sense and tell a clear story
  • Pre-edit and systemize clips from our testimonial database so any editor can quickly drag, drop, and use them
  • Share learnings and best practices with the wider editing team

Requirements

You should have:

  • An AI-driven editing workflow at the core of how you work, using Claude Code or another AI agent/editing platform to automate tasks such as clip selection, cropping, captions, and assembly
  • The ability to clearly explain and demonstrate an AI editing pipeline you’ve actually built and used
  • Experience producing AI avatars and AI voice content using HeyGen, ElevenLabs, or equivalent tools
  • Experience with generative AI video, using tools such as Seedance, Veo, Kling, or equivalent
  • Strong short-form direct-response advertising skills, including hooks, pacing, captions, and retention for Meta, Instagram, and YouTube
  • An active habit of researching, testing, and adopting new AI video and editing tools

A plus, but not a requirement: Familiarity with Meta advertising policies.

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience, editing volume, and quality of output.

The full compensation range will be shared during the interview process.

Benefits

Work From Anywhere

Fully remote position, with at least 3 hours of daily overlap with Central European Time.

Ownership & Impact

You won’t just execute edits—you’ll build and own our AI video production pipeline at a company that changes lives every day.

Real Autonomy

You’ll have the freedom to decide how the work gets done: which AI tools to use, how to structure the workflow, and how to organize your day—without someone constantly looking over your shoulder.

Ongoing Growth

Your opportunities for growth will be driven by the quality and volume of your output.
