Job Overview & Description

VidAngel is a fast-growing streaming platform that has helped over 1,000,000 customers over the past decade with content filtering services that help families watch entertainment on their terms. We’re evolving from a content filtering utility into a comprehensive family entertainment platform. As a small but nimble tech company, we move fast, wear multiple hats, and are building something that matters to families across the country.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative, scrappy content maker who wants to be the engine behind everything our customers see on both organic and paid social media. You’ll help to produce posts, ads, and short-form video from brand templates, and sourcing creators to make user-generated content (UGC) that amplifies our brand message. This is a rare opportunity to shape how a growing brand shows up across every social channel, with your work running in front of real audiences the same week you make it.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities:

  • Produce the content behind our organic social calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Build ad creative for Meta and Google campaigns, including images, copy variations, and video cuts for testing
  • Design static and carousel posts within established brand templates
  • Edit short-form video for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Identify and recruit UGC creators, negotiate partnership terms, and manage them through delivery
  • Write scripts and creative briefs for UGC and creator content, and oversee production
  • Maintain an organized library of creative assets and a roster of creator partners
  • Partner with our social and paid media teams to plan and prioritize content needs
  • Uphold brand standards in partnership with our creative team
  • Provide backup coverage for social comment moderation when needed

Growth Opportunities:

  • Report directly to the VP of Marketing and help shape creative strategy across paid and organic social
  • Use performance data to learn what resonates and turn those insights into better content
  • Build and scale our UGC program and creator network
  • Develop new templates and content formats with our creative team
  • Experiment with emerging platforms, formats, and AI-assisted production tools

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 2–4 years of experience creating social content for a brand or agency
  • A portfolio showing both designed social assets and edited short-form video
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or Figma
  • Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar
  • Experience writing scripts or creative briefs for creators or UGC
  • Experience sourcing creators and negotiating partnership terms
  • Strong, concise copywriting skills for social posts and ads
  • Solid understanding of platform formats and best practices across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance requests from multiple teams
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and solve problems proactively

Preferred:

  • Experience producing creative for paid social or search campaigns
  • Familiarity with creative testing and reading ad performance data
  • Experience in streaming, entertainment, or subscription-based businesses
  • Experience with UGC marketplaces or creator management platforms
  • Photography or on-camera experience
  • Startup or high-growth company experience
  • Familiarity with the family entertainment space and our audience

Why VidAngel?

  • Ownership from day one: You’ll be the go-to content creator, not one of dozens in a large creative department
  • Growth trajectory: Clear path from content production to creative strategy and leadership
  • Impact: Your work directly enables our mission to serve families, and you’ll see how it performs in real time
  • Learning environment: Work closely with experienced leadership on paid and organic marketing
  • Competitive compensation: Annual salary depending on experience, plus benefits, participation in the company bonus plan, and equity ownership
  • Remote work environment: We love occasionally working face-to-face and value in-persone collaboration, but most work will be done remote

Equal Opportunity

We’re committed to building a diverse team and strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We believe the best products come from teams with varied perspectives and experiences.

Our Values

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Team player: Lifts others up and makes the team better through collaboration and support
  • Growth-minded: Constantly looking for opportunities to learn and improve—challenges and failures lead to learning and growth
  • Impact-driven: Motivated to have a meaningful impact on the business and driven to achieve measurable results
