Our client is seeking a Senior Visual Designer / Brand Lead to elevate and evolve its visual brand across digital and editorial channels. This is a great opportunity for a polished designer who combines exceptional hands-on craft with an art directors eye for brand, storytelling, and strategy.

What You’ll Do:

– Create polished digital, social, editorial, and publication design, including reports, executive summaries, and infographics.
– Evolve an established visual brand while maintaining consistency across channels.
– Bring an editor’s eye to typography, layout, hierarchy, alignment, and visual details.
– Apply Accessibility best practices throughout your work.
– Balance hands-on design with strategic, art direction-level thinking.
– Help develop design standards across channels, including video.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide creative direction to freelance/external designers.
– Serve as a design and brand champion across the organization.

What You’ll Bring:

– A strong portfolio featuring clean, sophisticated, and highly polished design work.
– Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
– Experience across editorial/publication, digital, and information design.
– Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills.
– Knowledge of accessible design standards.
– Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to take projects from concept through final execution.
– Experience in nonprofits, think tanks, media, higher education, foundations, or other content-rich organizations is a plus
– Ability to be both a player and coach, executing the work while providing thoughtful creative direction.
