SelfActual is an AI-driven company focused on building self-knowledge-powered applications on top of private personal data vaults. Its products, including Imprint and Atlas, help individuals create persistent models of how they work and map their strengths, decisions, and context into structured self-knowledge that AI can effectively use. This approach enables AI systems to respond based on who a person actually is, rather than a generic profile, and supports deeper, privacy-first collaboration within teams. The platform is built on W3C Solid, emphasizing personal data sovereignty, portability, and privacy by default, with no vendor lock-in. SelfActual is live and actively building in the open, offering opportunities to shape the future of personalized, ethical AI.
Role Description This is a full-time, remote Marketing Manager role responsible for leading and executing marketing initiatives that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement for SelfActual’s products. In this role, the Marketing Manager will develop and refine positioning and messaging, plan and run integrated campaigns, and oversee content across channels such as website, email, social media, and communities. The role involves collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate complex AI and privacy concepts into clear, compelling narratives for individuals and teams. The Marketing Manager will analyze performance metrics, optimize campaigns based on data, manage budgets, and contribute to go-to-market plans for new features and products. Day-to-day work includes strategic planning, hands-on execution of digital marketing activities, and continual experimentation with new growth and branding opportunities.
