Director of Marketing
Position Overview
Lynd Clinical is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead corporate and patient recruitment marketing across the Lynd Clinical network.
This role will build Lynd’s brand, external presence, marketing infrastructure, and patient recruitment campaigns across studies, therapeutic areas, sites, and markets.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and highly execution-oriented, with experience building marketing programs in clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, or another multi-site environment.
The Director of Marketing will report to the CEO and work closely with Patient Recruitment, Business Development, Clinical Operations, Technology, and site leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Marketing
* Develop and execute Lynd Clinical’s corporate marketing and brand strategy.
* Establish consistent positioning, messaging, visual identity, and communications across the organization.
* Oversee Lynd’s website, digital channels, social media, presentations, corporate materials, case studies, and other external-facing content.
* Develop materials that communicate Lynd’s capabilities to industry partners, physicians, clinical partners, acquisition targets, and other stakeholders.
* Support executive communications, company announcements, thought leadership, public relations, and industry visibility.
* Maintain consistent brand standards across corporate operations and Lynd research sites.
Patient Recruitment Marketing
* Partner with Patient Recruitment to develop marketing strategies that support enrollment for active and upcoming clinical trials.
* Develop and execute study-, therapeutic area-, and market-specific campaigns across digital, social, physician referral, community, and other channels.
* Build reusable campaign templates and creative assets that can be deployed efficiently across multiple studies and sites.
* Support new site and market launches with localized patient awareness, physician outreach, and community marketing.
* Track campaign performance, including lead generation, conversion, cost per lead, cost per screened patient, cost per randomized patient, and other relevant metrics.
* Use performance data to improve campaign effectiveness and patient acquisition efficiency.
Business Development and Industry Support
* Partner with Business Development to develop capabilities presentations, site profiles, therapeutic-area materials, investigator materials, and network overviews.
* Support strategic opportunities with tailored materials highlighting Lynd’s patient populations, recruitment capabilities, investigators, geographic footprint, operating model, and technology.
* Support conferences, industry meetings, and other external events with messaging, materials, presentations, and follow-up campaigns.
Marketing Operations and Analytics
* Build scalable marketing processes, tools, templates, and reporting across the Lynd network.
* Establish KPIs for corporate and patient recruitment marketing.
* Manage external agencies, vendors, creative resources, and digital platforms as needed.
* Partner with Technology and Patient Recruitment to connect marketing data with Lynd’s recruitment workflows, CRM, CTMS, and analytics capabilities.
* Provide leadership with clear visibility into marketing performance, patient acquisition, and return on marketing investment.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, or another multi-site environment.
* Experience across both corporate marketing and performance-driven patient or customer acquisition marketing.
* Clinical research site, site network, SMO, or patient recruitment experience strongly preferred.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing, content development, social media, brand management, campaign execution, and performance analytics.
* Experience supporting geographically distributed locations or multi-site organizations preferred.
* Ability to translate clinical, operational, and technology capabilities into clear and compelling messaging.
* Experience partnering closely with Patient Recruitment, Sales, or Business Development teams.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to execute multiple concurrent initiatives.
* Highly analytical and comfortable using performance data to improve marketing effectiveness.
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* Comfortable operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment with significant ownership and accountability.
Success in the Role
Success will be measured by the Director’s ability to strengthen the Lynd Clinical brand, build scalable corporate and patient recruitment marketing capabilities, improve campaign performance, support patient acquisition and study enrollment, and contribute to continued network growth.
