Role DescriptionThe Jr SEO / AEO Analyst role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting search engine optimization and answer engine optimization initiatives for healthcare clients.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, assisting with on-page optimization, performing basic SEO audits, and monitoring website performance using analytics tools.
The analyst will help with link-building outreach, review and optimize content for search and answer engines, and prepare regular performance reports for internal teams and clients.
- SEO & AEO Research: Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor research, and identify opportunities across Google Search, AI Overviews, and answer engines.
- On-Page SEO & AEO Optimization: Optimize page structure, headings, metadata, internal linking, FAQs, schema, entities, and content formats to improve visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search.
- Content Optimization for Search & AI Answers: Work with content teams to optimize blogs, service pages, doctor pages, FAQs, and location pages for featured snippets, conversational queries, AI-generated answers, and answer engines.
- Technical SEO, Local SEO & Structured Data: Support technical audits, indexing, crawlability, schema implementation, site structure, and Google Business Profile optimization.
- Performance Tracking & Updates: Monitor rankings, organic traffic, leads, AI/search visibility, and Search Console performance while staying updated on SEO, AEO, GEO, AI Overviews, and evolving search trends.
What we are looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or a related digital marketing role (agency experience a plus).
- Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, technical basics, and link concepts.
- Hands-on familiarity with at least some of: Google Search Console, GA4, and an SEO platform such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and turning data into simple, clear insights.
- Strong written English and attention to detail — you catch the small things.
- Genuine curiosity about AI answer engines and how search is evolving.
Previous experience working with healthcare, medical, hospital, doctor, or clinic websites will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
However, candidates should understand that healthcare SEO requires a higher level of attention to accuracy, trust, credibility, author expertise, and responsible content practices.
